Objective: To show the results of respiratory triage from nursing perspectives at Matron Roberts Polyclinic II, Belize City. Methodology: A preliminary longitudinal retrospective study was carried out, covering the period from April 2020 to March 2022. The statistical records of cases treated at the polyclinic was the primary source. Results: between April 2020 and March 2022, at the respiratory clinic of Matron Roberts Polyclinic II, high peaks of respiratory symptoms and signs were observed in December 2021 and January 2022, in correspondence with the increase in COVID-19 cases nationwide, in turn, nursing actions were verified in compliance with respiratory triage protocols. Conclusions: The behavior of the triage care activity for people with respiratory conditions was shown in relation to suspected cases of COVID-19, and in turn the importance.
