Peer Review Process

BJM uses a double-blind peer review system.

After initial methodological screening, manuscripts are sent to two independent reviewers. In cases of conflicting evaluations, a third reviewer may be appointed.

Editorial Decisions:

  • Accepted
  • Accepted with conditions
  • Not accepted

The peer review process does not exceed 90 calendar days from submission, except in exceptional circumstances.

Revised manuscripts must be returned within 15 days. After publication, authors have 72 hours to review the final proof.

The entire editorial process from submission to publication does not exceed 365 calendar days.

All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software (StrikePlagiarism).
